i can access the website

dont feel guilty - u have nothing to feel guilty about

i was also under the assumption that any proposed rule change has to be put to everyone competing on this forum

got this from the website:

8. Rule changes

1. Rules can be changed by the jury.

so who are the jury actually????

guys, just a question...
does the steering help count as a driver aid for KB users? because in every round i'm being deducted 6 points, 2 for auto-gears, 2 for TC, and the other 2 i suppose are for steering help???

no, steering help only incurs a penalty for steering wheel users, NOT kb.

ps: so who actually is the jury??

I've got a question or two.

1) Since each person submits their lap file, the "jury" or designated verifier can view each lap and look for any aides that are turned on as well as watch for any infractions during the lap, why is there any talk of cheating ?

2) If there is concern over what aides are given what penalty, why not just state which ones are allowed, period ? No point penalties, just DQ the lap.

For instance:

THe FIA currently allows Traction control, Launch control, and autogears. Perhaps those should all be allowed without penalty.

( Personally, I think that the F1 teams need to drop those driver aides and let the drivers get some hair on their chests !! )

Since keyboard players DO have a disadvantage, other sites I know of allow Steering help for them only.

p.s. It's NOT advised to piss off the webmaster. It's can be a lot more work that it looks. I know. I'm doing it for anouther league.

im well aware its a lot of work to do

but we did not piss him off, we just all voted and obviously neil was against the vote

i have said that for ages, why r we getting penalized for driver aids that are legal in real life F1??

Personally, I don't use any driving aides, but that is just a stuborn streak I have. I think most of the drivers, in the other league I work with, DO use TC in their EA sims. The, " If they use it in the REAL world, we should be able to do so as well " argument is the norm.

But....

If a league wants to try to differenciate between drivers even more, adding some sort of time to a HL for each aide also makes sense. It all has to be typed out in black and white before hand.

Don´t prectice SW with hotlap setup checha.... that´s the worst thing you can do.... first, get used to the SW with a default setup (like 15/15 wings), then you go try a hotlap setup.... try that!!!!

checha, I think it'll take you a while to get used to the wheel, but then you won't gonna touch the KB again...
