@checha:
well mate, you can use any driver aids you want, just remember that STEERING HELP (F8) gives you a 0.5-second-penalty on your final laptime!!!!
the other rules are the same from the kb users.... 2 points lost for driving aids (we wanna change that as you can see!)....

Max lock is how much the wheels of the car are gonna turn, I use 12 degrees....

Low sensitivity zone is a little complicated, here we go.... 100% of LSZ means that when you turn your SW completelly, on the game the wheels are gonna turn completelly.... if you use 50% you just need to turn half of the way on your SW for the wheels on the game to turn completelly.... understand? I use 100%....

Reduce with car speed is how much the sensitivity of your SW is gonna fade away with the increase of the car speed.... I use 0%

hope it helpt.... :)

so f8 turn off, 12 degress, 100% of sensitive

Reduce with car speed is how much the sensitivity of your SW is gonna fade away with the increase of the car speed.... I use 0%

what that means???

it meas that on low speed the SW is gonna be sensible.... but on a straight line, on high speed, the SW is not gonna be that much sensible.... that´s to prevent you from spining on the middle of the straight, by only touching the SW a little.... understand now????

Can i really ride all the curbs in the first chicane? I feel im losing out here, but maybe im still losing out in the second chicane, sometimes i get great entry speed, other times i crash in the middle of it, and most times im to slow into it.Splits are ranging from 30 to early 29's in the first, seond splits are now in low 58's or mid 59's

Its now the first im losing out in LOL

Anyone tell me where im going wrong by not been able to break into the 1.22's......please???

Well, today's horse, you could send me your hotlap, and I can try to give you an advise. By the way, you could also send me your setup to see and compare.

My e-mail is: joste-g@online.no

I send you this one, its pathetic, i miss the apex in both lesmos, and run very very wide out of ascari (probably illegal i guess) BUT i did do a 1.22.892

If its anything near legal ill be happy, but i dont think it is....:( BUT i was superb through the parabolica, best yet, thats what got me the time i think:)..if only i could string together the best bits, youll see im down on sector times through the lap

Your getting mail...............

You will no doubt notice ive upped the wing from the set up i got from f1 timer, i just couldnt go any quicker as it was, id tried altering the roll bars and stuff, but it was losing me time not gaining it. As a last resort i went 2 on the rear and 3/4 on the front, i and i pop a 1.22 in amongst a load of 1.23's and 1.24's so im sticking with it.

"if only i could string together the best bits, youll see im down on sector times through the lap"

LOL that's the trick I guess;-):)

I didn't read these posts before I wrote and sent the reply to you.

Yeah yeah, your setup is not bad at all. I put my suggestions in the mail reply though....

MAYBE YOU SHOULD TRY DRIVING A McLaren INSTEAD OF A FERRARI;-);)

Hope I can be of some help.

Ahh, just to be sure, you do run with the default physics file?

And i usually get the lesmos right and the ascari, just cocked up on that lap. At least you could view it, thats a relief!

Todays_Horse, the "2-wheel-on-kerb rule" is apllied only for inside kerbs.... if you run wide coming out of Ascari, and you don´t touch any of the outside kerbs, been completely off that track.... don´t worry, that´s legal coz you are not cutting any corner!!!! What you must have is at least 2 wheels touching the inside kerbs, that means that you can put part of the car onto the grass, cutting the corner a little bit, but the limit is 2 wheels to remain on the inside kerb!!!!

Fabio, as running wide when coming out of Ascari is legal, I considered the time Todays_Horse posted before, 1:22.892
