Gp4 exe question.

When I place the V8 exe into my main folder I see when I start the game that the LCD read out is white, if I place the old exe back in it goes back to a Black LCD.
I can't find any info on this here, is there a way to keep a Black LCD? I have tried replacing the font folder but that did not work, also reinstalled the wheel but no joy.
