New WadUpdater 2.9

Brings all you ever wished but Max Downforce's pitboxes easy update
Cause it was a too long task to be able to release it for today else.

I worked quite hard on it all along the week and i hope it will really help you with wads operations.

Here is the history:

v2.9
New "Create Wad" function
Path and Filenames are now saved
Fixed trackname[j] folder bug when adding new files
Now use Last file's path when selecting many times one file
Fixed many errors when updating all tracks wads
Fixed not adding new files if cars.wad has uppercase chars.
Wadupdater is no more closed after extracting a wad.
Finally got the .wad file filter working
Better XP Style handling

And i forgot to say that i built a full User Guide, maybe the first of a long serie if it is usefull.

nice work Lo2K I was still using your 2.3 version maybe thats why It sometimes didn't update my tex files..

I especially like the update selected wad function makes it A LOT easier to quickly add a file.

i dont know what you did but this now works much faster for me in xp, indtead of 20-30 second for a track update im getting .8 of a second and can now update all tracks in about 40seconds. Brilliant

now thats speed

I hanven't used wadupdater often (actually about one time only....) and i have a question. Can it update helmet visors easily for all tracks?

@Ralphi: I added some icons to better recognize buttons, it might help a bit.

@Beostar: Yes, i discovered many troubles in code used in past wadupdater versions. I worked hard and hope this one won't have too much bugs.

@Caelen: Yep, i entirely rebuilt tool code, using a new way to update files. It is really quicker, apart for all tracks, which still needs 40-50s for now, but we might less updating all tracks than car.wads or individual tracks.

@dUmAsS: hehe, think you can put the crown out of the chest yet

@Max Downforce: it can because i built it to do that
You just have to put all your visors in a folder , select this folder in the upper part of the tool, choosing GP4 installation to update (or use default one) and click "update all track wads" button.
Wait 40-50s and it's done, every tracks are now using your visors...

I did personnaly a test gathering new tarmac bumpmap file, new gridlines, new replay display and new smoke and fire file in the same folder and updated all tracks with it. Works perfectly

And about pitboxes, it's really a painfull task, for you manually as for us coding it, so we will see...

Laurent better wait for the pitboxpatcher cause Zaz has made something he's testing now which looks very promising!

Hey Lo2K, I just used the Updater for my GP4 to reinstall everything, and....
it rocks! Good job man!

@Max Downforce : Hope Zaz will find an easy way to bring that feature

@Guimengo : Glad to hear it seems working perfectly because i made maybe 100 or 200 tests before releasing it and only got it working about 10 tests before the releases.
