hy folks,

i would like to have a 2009 cars-wad, completely compiled. if someone has one, is it possible to upload this one?
iam too busy to find the cars and to install them one by one...

mate, Im not gonna upload my 500mb cars.wad to one person. Jorge is kind enough to do it, and that's great.

but it would take you a maximum of 45 minutes to make your own cars.wad

Eric@ Not all know how to make non csm mod or even more a csm mod, so
im wondering why you got awarded a gold plate for saying "make it youself"
instead of saying "ill help you". It really makes me wonder.

well mate, it's not that hard to learn and it's worth knowing if you're a GP4 player. And Im pretty sure there is tutorials for this to, right? (there must be, otherwise I will gladly help to do one)

I did not write that to get a "gold plate", I wrote that because there are many members who have asked if ppl could upload their cars.wad, and many of them do that because they are to lazy to fix it by their own.

Im not saying that stiffler is to lazy, maybe he just does not have enough time. Im just thinking, as I did when I started with my own cars.wads.
If you know how to compile a cars.wad, you can control exacly what cars, tyres, helmets, steeringwheels etc. you want to play with instead of other guys personal taste.

I think that's a much better idea than keep asking for others ppl's cars.wads.

And besides, I've got alot of personal cars in my .wads so I could not share them anyway.

And for the love of god, Im not saying this to be rude, okay? If he do as I say, and try on his own, I accually AM helping him.

Exactly the kind of reaction why I haven't asked the same question on this site. Some of us have lives and just wanna play the game and if some folks can help us out to enjoy updates we take it.

I've read through that tutorial to create the mod yourseld and believe me, it's anything but obvious unless you have time to study the ins and outs of the different files.

But if that's the kind of blasting I'd have to endure in order to get my paws on it, I'd rather go without it, thank you very much.

apperently my version of creating a non csm mod, or even your own cars.wad can't be in that tutorial.

you know what, I will try to write a tutorial on this .. hopefully you can understand me cause I did not find it that hard when I first tried making it on my own.

Well we all appreciate the tutorials on here and thanks a lot for helping in that way!

What I was trying to say, is that I only have internet at work, so I don't have a chance to really sit down and take in what to do, with every little piece of detail, because let's face it, there are many details.

E.g. I have read that we have to set our own tyre positions, but to be able to do that you obviously know it will take a lot of time and tweaking. And camera positions, the same.

Easy? Probably. Time consuming? This is where our problem lies.

So stifflers mum probably has kind of the same situation as me. There are guys on here that have the time, others rely on the generosity of others. Different people need different solutions.
