Has anyone ever gotten this wheel to work in GP4, anyone?

I can't get the game to recognize the Z axis, for seperate wheels and pedals and I can't get it to recognize non-seperate wheel & pedals. Calbration is just doesn't occur.

I have contacted the game manufacturer and they say it is the wheel. OF course the wheel manufacturer says it is the game! Great support from both.

For all of us that have FFFB wheels it would be nice to know if anyone has been successful and under what circumstances.

I have a full game install plus the patch.

does it work without the patch? anyone observe interferance from other software or hardware?

Anything helpful would be useful or is this game a waste of time?

Oh dear, I've got this wheel and will be able to use it tommow!

Have you tried Control Driven Calibration?

But I know several people said that they got it to work no problem.

It says in one of the files that came with the patch that it has been tested and works with the patch. You have to have the option 'Operate Pedals Seperately' seleceted in the controller options/properties

actually i had the same problem 1 week ago when i bought my wheel.

Vader explained me the problem (thanks to him) and i went to the official website of the wheel where i downloaded a update which had to options to choose from ONE 2 axis and one 3 axis . SO if i set it to 3 axis than games like gp4 and NFS hot pursuit 2 recognize both the pedals.

You might try it through control if there is a option given there to choose between 2 axis or 3 axis or consider the website of the wheel for the help.

I have a Guillemot Ferrari FFB wheel.

When I set to seperate wheels & pedals it won't recognize any third axis.

Which download are you referring to regarding the 3 axis, what was it called and where did you find it?

I'VE DONE IIIITTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Select wheel and then go to advanced. Go to acceleration and brake and click on the pull down menu. Select Controller A. The press the accelerater and then click the axis it moves the bar on. The do the same for Brake. Exit the advanced and click back. It'll ask you to calibrate the wheel again. Do it, and it works!!!!!!!

I haven't been able to look at this problem with my wheel lately and the site was down. I tired all the things you suggested and would like to e-mail regarding any other hints.

Thanks

Got the three axis to work, but only works without the official patch. Funny how installing the official patch creates a problem that is wheel only and not software?

However steering is still funny. I almost have to stop before I can get turn-in on some corners, not the smooth progressive steer like GP3.

There must be another thing I have to change?

Can you adjust steering lock?

Is there another adjustment I can make to restore response?
