Standard GP4 directors cut

Hey, not sure if anyone else is having this problem but when I'm running the standard GP4 and want to use the directors cut it doesnt always work and will stay watching the same car that I last selected, this is rather annoying, any ideas on why it does this? I originally thought it was because I changed the AI level to "random" instead of "2001 levels" but when I changed it back it was still the same.

thats is a known bug in gp4 that wasn't solved with the gp4.exe 1.02 so you gotta live with it.
