New to GP4 - help required!!!

Hello, after many years of playing GP3 I finally have a computer capable of running GP4 to a satisfactory level.....trouble is I've been trying, in vain, to bring the game up-to-date for the 2009 season.

I realise that there are probably many threads about this, but so far I have found myself going round in circles and getting nowhere!!!

I have installed the Microprose patch, Decrypted patch and GPX patch and have downloaded various 2009 cars and tools. I was hoping that someone out there may be able to guide me through (in simple terms!) how to install all the cars and graphics in order to help bring my game up-to-date.
