New to GP4, just need some guiding

Just installed the gp406 mod by italia and the trackpack. When i ran gpxpatch, game still looks 2002ish. Why is that? And the speedometer of the car overlaps the default speedometer by GP4. Did i do anything wrong?

Have you installed the Official 9.6 patch? Also, try another mod. Then, we can see if it's just that mod, or your GP4 Installation.

Yep installed 9.6 already. I need a step by step guide on how to make my gp4 look like a high res f1 game haha. With all the features. Is it something like replacing files and files?

If you want high qual, use CSM and get a hi res CSM mod.

Did you set in GPxPatch Mode to "Digital 2004" (GPxSet tab), font to Digital 2004 too? Also, go ingame and go to options, then graphic's and there you disable all the 6 items (in the list that contains tv overlays too), you can put mirrors on though. Then download the 2006 hud from RealGPx ( [www.realgpx.com] ). The Gp4form points you to 2006 HUD notes for instructions on how to install, follow the steps there and you'll be fine

Most mods include hi res textures anyway, installing csm doesnt fix that at all, just need to edit the graphics cfg a little, i never use csm and everything i have installed looks good

Set what I have told you in my previous post and you'll have it like that. Do you have tha latest version of GPxPatch? That might be the problem, but I don't really know.

Btw guys, my gpxpatch is reporting that my gp4 is 1.00 when i just updated it before i installed the mod. I am using gpxpatch 3.93.
