your idea sounds interesting. It would be nice to see our cars in other
simulations as well.
But the problem I see here are the files in the .z3d format. I guess this is
the file format of the Z modeler used for EA sims.
GPL has it's own file format. We only have the cars in the original .3do
format. If they could have been modeled in Z modeler everything would have
been a lot easier and the cars could have been released earlier.
Sorry, but I think as long as there is no possibility to convert the .3do
file format to the .z3d format there is no way to see these cars in GP4.
Please tell me if I understood something wrong.

thats what i got from the gplea guys :(

also i need a few special features for the tyrrell (transparent colour, like gp2/3) and tinted yellow, windscreen, for the front

the yellow window is possible using the rear brake glow objects and alpha layers

whats the latest on windscreens?
Was it so that it only showed in lod_0?
or did shutt1e and the alfa147 mod guys sort that?

will editing the exe to use lod_0 only help. theres lists of the car parts in there too, so i guess you might be able to add delete things from that list? maybe.
