1600x1050 widescreen resolution in GP4

Hi, recently i bought 22" widescreen monitor and i wonder if is possible to change resolution to 1600x1050 and how do i do that? I tried to change it to 1600x1200 and it reset back to 640x480. So the maximum resolution i can use is 1280x1024.

Try change it your graphics profile in GP4 installed folder while putting 1 at the first line. change even in debug mode lines. And afterwards don't touch display settings in GAME.

Yes , edit the f1graphics file like this

To play in widescreen, the "tweak" below has been tested and works fine:
Open "f1graphics.cfg" and set in the first three lines:

1 ; f1graphics.cfg controls all settings (default 0)
1440 ; [RELEASE] Game 3D Horizontal Resolution
900 ; [RELEASE] Game 3D Vertical Resolution

In OPTIONS>GRAPHICS it will appear as 640x480 but do not change it.
When you play, real resolution will be 1440x900.

You may try the same with 1600x1050 resolution and post the results.
(Just take an ingame screenshot and measure its resolution.)
