has anyone experimented with the weather files

just had a go at playing with the weather file in the tracks.wad, dont know what all the variables do, any info appreciated.

heres an example of different coloured sky

so what was the original color?

Using X-aser Lanfire case with 5 fans inside cathodelights etc included aswell :P

the original skies just seem a bit too bright to me, some tracks look a lot better with the sky toned down a bit

why souldnt it be possible to have f1c skies?

it has to be tested but F1C skies are still images (as far as it seems to be) and GP4 ones are composite ones, half autogenerated by the game for the blue parts of the sky and half made of some dynamic cloud layer still using old jams tricks...so my answer for now is no but some enhancement could be done for sure, even if they won't reach photo level due to dynamic clouds technic

good progress Lo2k, but what about u add the color of F1C skies to the gp4 colored clouds and I suppose it would have a better effect.
