Changing weather conditions on race day

Hi All,

I was wondering if anybody knows whether it is possible to have different weather conditions in qualifying and in the race.

For example, if I had a 70 percent chance of rain in Qualifying, is there any way that I can change it to 0 percent chance of rain in the race??

I have tried to do this by changing the weather settings in GPxPatch (via CSM), however it just defaults back to whatever weather conditions I had set in Qualifying.

Any advice would be appreciated...

not possible to set it yourself

maybe im wrong...

but it can be edited on magic data for each dat...
open the md3 file and search for a line like this:


25 ; rain chance


maybe editing this line you can set dif probabilities.

Sorry but its not possible.

You can only control correctly the races but not the qualify.
Its a matter their is no control for this from either gpxpatch nor
any TSM settings.

For example in the upcoming update of the F1 2007 csm Mod i created a way
to make track specific weather conditions but it only works in quick race
mod. So in regarding to your question thats the best that you can hope for.

Thanks for the replies guys. Yeah it seems a shame that we can't have different weather conditions for quali and race day, however, I guess will just set the weather to 30 percent and maybe this will give me a different quali and race conditions.

Or you can set weather to Realistic and let the game decide.
