I sent him a pm yesterday and he clearly said he didn't want me to help. Bye.

Name =Rim Type
Name Icon =Data\Files\Info\icons\rim.ico
VarCount =2
Var1 =2D
VarName1 Icon =Data\Files\Info\icons\rim2d.ico

On 3d tyres you need to set in f1graphics.cfg to make the shape literally move. Otherwise they are static (for 2D). For 2D tyres, it only spins the texture. In 2D tyres there is an alpha channel to set transparency of the rims, where as 3D rims are just like the the car shape. Although I prefer the look of 3D rims, I don't think they spin quick enough, and when you take a screenshot, they are still.

Enzojz experimented in a combination of the two, and called it 5D - but I have no idea what he did.

I would use it but I prefer the tread shape made by Tis (3D treads).

I may make an 09 tyre as they are wider, I will have to check with enzo about how he did the rims. Unfortunately I do not know how to map cylindrical items :/

Isn't it done with Texture -> Cylcoord?

He made the 3d spokes but also added a flat 2d surface to make it look like the textures are rotating using the alpha channel. 2d advanced i think is much better.

Neither do I :p I've used it for mapping helmets before (haven't you?). I just selected the objects faces and clicked that - it automatically mapped it nicelyish. But it hasn't always worked perfectly for me

i have a problem with my Pitcrews:

CSM File:
Anim =Anim\2008.ini
------------------------

The 2008.ini is in my Anim Folder.
the 2008.ini File:
[Main]
Format =

[Config]

SkipBuild =

PitCrew1 =Ferrari
PitCrew2 =BMW
PitCrew3 =Renault
PitCrew4 =Williams
PitCrew5 =RBR
PitCrew6 =Toyota
PitCrew7 =STR
PitCrew8 =Honda
PitCrew9 =Aguri
PitCrew10 =India
PitCrew11 =McLaren

Engine1 =Ferrari
Engine2 =BMW
Engine3 =Renault
Engine4 =Williams
Engine5 =RBR
Engine6 =Toyota
Engine7 =STR
Engine8 =Honda
Engine9 =Aguri
Engine10 =India
Engine11 =McLaren

MarshallQual=
MarshallRace=
PitProp =
--------------------------

All folders have the correct name and the textures have this name:
engin_sa
pitcrew_sa

what is wrong with this?

do you have in the folder settings a 2008anim.ini file and does it say in there:

[AddFilesToWad1]
TargetFile =anim.wad
