How to update 1986 mod

I Just want to know how to update some cars of the 1986 mod...I checked into the FAQ but it looks only about update the original game, or maybe I´m wrong.

A few car updates were done before we lost track of Leolo. I don't know if he is still working on others or not. Anyway, the Benetton, McLaren, Williams, and Lotus were all redone by him to a very high standard.

As far as I know all you have to do is swap out the old tex files for those cars with the new ones. He did specific liveries on some of these cars for each race they changed in, but no type of config file was ever done that would swap the liveries out. Supposedly he was looking at doing an entire CSM re-work of the mod that would have allowed these race to race changes, but he hasn't posted here in a looong time...

In Mod 1986, already with the version update installed, the Tweaker is not in use.
You can make it work, to put the cars Mclaren, Williams, Benetton and Lotus working as its features (layout carshape) of each circuit? To modify the position of helmets?

Leolo was supposedly re-doing the entire mod since there was no config file in the 1986 mod to swap different race liveries. Remember, it's an OLD mod.

Actually there is the config file 1986 mod for swap different liveries race, unfortunately.
There is the values of the positions of helmets, tires, rims, but no change is made .... or where I'm failing change? or how to modify these positions ???....
For example the new Mclaren, the helmets (Rosberg and Prost) are not in the exact position.

Unfortunately, it seems that he stopped his work ...

Well, I tried and it works, but how can I put the helmet in the right position...it looks horrible!!!

Can you explain to process to get the liveries to swap for the correct races?

No, no I just choose one and use that...I´m not even close to being an expert on this...but the problem is the helmet´s position looks horrible, so if I can´t fix that I will be back to the original 1986.
I just swap all the files...very strange...try to do that!!!

I use the same method for liveries, just pick one and use it. I thought you had made a working config file!

As for the helmets, I haven't even tried changing them out...

I've downloaded a 98T and that has the config info in the readme. What other new 86 cars are available?

Yes, with the perfect method for liveries.
But not and can modify the position of helmets.
B-tone for what I know in terms of current cars we have:
- Benetton
- Lotus
- Mclaren
- Williams
I have seen screenshot of Ferrari's and Lola, but not knowing inform are ready.
Another detail is that the upgraded wheels and tires, using the MOD 1991. But the rear tires need to be a little larger, and in the screenshot's Ferrari and Lola, noticed that the front and rear tires have been updated, but could not find them.

I don't think the Ferrari or Lola were ever released. The others were though.

I'll have to take a look at that Lotus for the config file ...

Tell us if you can fix the helmets...

Indeed Jagdpanzer, a Ferrari and Lola have never been released, were only available images.
