Career patch?

So has anyone used the career patch by thomas? How good is it and does it overwrite your performance files?
I assume you can't edit it with your 2008 performance files?
And is there any other career mode available that I'm not aware of?
Anyone ever tried to make it or is making it?
is it even on the wishlist ofgp4 community?
