2005 MOD

Hi all,

Rite i get this wierd problem when I try to use the 2005 MOD in CSM.

I get a message popping up and saying;

"Duplicate GUIDS found!
You most likely copied a .csm file
to use as a base for another subset or even another mod.
That's okay, but you'll need to erase the UID key from the newer .csm file
to force CSM to generate a new one"

What do I do?!?!

I'm quite bad with technical stuff lol so any help would be really appreciated!

Not sure mate, that is 1 reason I never use CSM. It's a great tool but you have always a problem.
Thats why I make my mod's for myself.

Have you already played a CSM mod maybe ?

Yeah i've used CSM for ages and never really had a problem. But for some reason this time its gone a bit pete tong lol

it means that there is another mod on your pc that uses the same ID key. Probabely you have installed the 2005 mod 2 times or a beta version of that mod is still on your carsets. Check it out.

CSM is great and you only have problems caused by yourself. If you do everything step by step then CSM ROCKS and you can always ask questions if you have problems with it kimifanaat.

@ cduk_mugello : go to programfiles\infogrames\GP4\GPSAVES\CSM and delete the folder "2005", and reinstal the mod again in CSM. Tell me if it works.

So did you recently make a copy of a mod in your mod folder?
Or did it happen after you installed another mod?
It could be based on the original 2005 mod.

Well I had the 2006/7 mod on CSM then tried to install a 2005 one, but it was from racesimulations.com

I deleted it and tried to reinstall it but the same thing happend

When I realised gp4db came back on i went and checkd it out and downloaded the mod from there, i checked out how much it was and the racesimulations one was about 20mb more. So i just deleted that one because i couldnt sort it out, and installed the gp4db one, and now everything works fine.
