leeching is getting others work and relase them as being yours afaik.

Why do he needs permission to release them? Once you've given your work to anyone else, its public domain from this point being! You dont have any more control over it!

Its exactly this burocratic and silly behaviour that is corrupting our community and forcing us to wait, wait and wait for months, months and months for a mod!

Sorry, but I had to say that, I am just tired of waiting for mods... thats why i moved to rFactor and stayed there as there are far more mods.

You can always make your own mod, CSM or NON CSM, i've done it in 2 weeks but most are just too lazy to start making one or figure it out ... And waiting months and months is because they deliver then TOP QUALITY cars with shapes build from zero which takes time which most community members don't have anymore, patience ...

Now that he changed the title its fine but before it was the same as posting a link in here from the files and like he says himself he is asking for premission, he doesn't have it for the moment ...

Eh? lazy? Sorry if i am not a child anymore, I have a job and sometimes all i just wanted is a updated GP4 to relax a few minutes after a hard day at work! I dont want to waste that time cracking my head to mount a mod when I already do that at work!

I was willing to do my own mod for personal use, but theres not a single tutorial or guideline on how to do it! Thats why I suggested in another thread, that we could have someone doing a thread explaining it and posting the links for latest files. Then we wouldnt have a gazillion threads being open everyday with ppl asking for the latest F2008 or R28... or how to do that in Cam Editor to get the right T-Cam views.

But you expect other people to do that for you??? That's hardly fair. If others make a mod for any game, we have to be thankful they do it, but we have no right to expect others to make a mod.

personal point of view.
i don't support leeched work, but rfactor keep so many works from gp4 (tracks and cars)... so for one time that it is gp4 to keep some advantage from rfactor... :P

i have also to say that rosberg is sharing his work of "convertion" and he show a better comunity behavior thant that one who show from the start of the season screenes of new cars without release them.
Personal point of view of course.

I agree and Red bull,Honda and Williams are actually gp4 cars converted to rfactor and now they are converted back again with some new modifications and parts so orginally cars are made by gp4 shaper/painters like Kizz,Andry,MDBSnake,Gezere and Paolo only the McLaren is not orginally from gp4 it's a MMG work.

F1RFT group has only made modifications to those shapes. So who to ask the permission from? from F1RFT group? what if they say no for public release? are they allowed to do so?because they have been given permission by them selve by gp4 authors who have done the whole car except some new parts and textures?....so who to ask the permission from..the f1rft group or gp4 shapers/painters? or from both of them?

Rosberg, good conversions, just watch the rear end looks like it is hanging too far out the back.

anyway It taken about 90 minutes for car , But I made a good gp4 damage just for few cars , to remake a good damage take about 7/8 hours for everycar

Really awesome work on the conversions It shows the possibilities.

yeah they look ok, but why do you need to brag to everyone what you have? you know its just going to get either a 'send it to me pls' response or a 'stop leeching' response ?

as far as i know most if not all of the rft mod was a set of leeched cars badly edited so this is conversion of that
