Wet weather utility?

Im doing wet weather tyre tests. But I have problems in that sense I dont know actually how much amount water that is on the track from one minute to the other. Which means that my laptimes are not always correct when comparing an intermediate tyre with a hard or soft wet. Because the wetness of the track changes from one tyre test to another (when you put in some laps, come back to change tyres and out again) So I wonder if there was an utility that would count the average wetness on the track of each lap or something out here? Is it possible? Because it would help a lot to analyse correctly. Now it feels like Im in the dark without a candle and have to feel my way forward.

I remember in F1 challenge there was actually a line that showed the actual wetness of the track in that particular lap on the telemetry data. Which of course made it easier to make graphs when different tires peaked at their performances. However, that game doesnt have the depth of GP4 of course.

But do you see my dilemma?

(Of course there is a possibility with loading a practise session with 100% forecast rain, and so on, to stabilise things. To get the same amount of rain constant for 2 hours. But try for yourself. Its not that even as you may think cause it differs. In theory it works but in pracitise.... Nah.)

if you go to session settings on GPxPatch and put in a random seed, it sets a level of weather conditions for the track, which remains constant as long as you keep the same seed. to find a seed, save a hotlap, and open it with hotfxlap (available from SDI-the GPxPatch website) then the random seed for that lap is on there. If you then put that into GPxPatch, the weather conditions will be constantly the same as the ones u used in setting that hotlap.

Okay... I get it! But how do I get the SEED from a particular session or a hotlap?

Do several sessions, but instead of enabling "Use" in GPxPatch, like that picture does, do "Record" instead.

Alright. Im back again with a vengance. Well... I load a saved session. (I have marked record in GPx set session settings) And I then quit the game and go back to GPx patch but its still a blank sheet in random seed!?

Did you use hofxlapw and loaded the saved session?
Maybe it will show their the ramdom seed.

Yeah, I do load the saved session in hofxlapw, and random seed shows:
Random seed: 0,0,0,0,0,0
Which is weird cause its pouring down.

Can you show me a picture of your gpxset session settings?

To record I have to start a new session and Ill get a seed when I go back to GPx. But I wonder how to extract a seed from a saved session or a hotlap.

random seeds are random
0,0,0,0 or watever doesnt mean no rain...
