It was GP4 Tex editor but James Knoop (sp)

It was hosted at same place as jons, so therefore its also gone

I have the batch converted .dll file, but the editor is no palce to be found

If anyone ahs the editor, can you send it to me?

I have found a version, but the batch converted doesnt seem to work. The option is not there, althp the .dll is installed. Strange

Yeah i got an old versio but it doesnt seen the batch converter dll, and this is why i need it

It converts whole dirs of TGA to tex and vise versa super quick. When u have 16 GT cars to convert with 7 texs each it takes way to long

but it doesnt convert back to tex too well. the alphas don't go.

oh, B-tone i just emailed u a version of the cockpit without the right hand side mirror, and the mirror bug in the center is fixed (i hope)

i tired doing a whole tracks worth of wads today:



i think mine is v2.0, so maybe theres a newer one that can do alphas.
whats the track order for the 98 gt season?

FIA GT 1998 only ran 10 races, altho tey were 3 hours each

We are running the default tracks at the moment in the default order

the Real season was this

Oschersleben (Germany)

Silverstone (UK)

Hockenheim (Germany - old long version)

Dijon (France)

Hungaroring (hungary)

Suzuka (Japan)

Donington (UK)

A1-Ring (Austria)

Homestead (USA - Oval infield track)

Laguna Seca (USA)

Of Course Le Mans was in there somewhere but it wasnt an official round

And jsut for the hell of it heres a Zakspeed Porsche rolling at high speed in practise for the Homsttead round. He came off the banking ands lost the rear end, went into the rgass side ways, the car got caught by the air which lifted it up and rolled it

it appears the site is down which is a bit of a pain I will endevour to get the site back up as soon as visibly possible. In the mean time if you could give me some reports on bugs and what you would like improving and what you would like to see in the new version I will be grateful

ooo nothing better than hearing from the author himself

I belive the reason why the batch.dll isnt working is because im running an old version from a site.

Main reason why i wanted this was for the batch conversion cos i really am getting sick of going into GP4 Master and converting them one by one :|

hehe I aim to please

I would imagine that you're using an old version; check the version number in the about box or the program properties. It stands a good chance if its less than 2.0 it will be due to that. If not then back to the old drawing board and I have a major bug on my hands

Currently I'm looking to update the program, might ditch the plug in idea and opt to hard code it instead. Also need to look at the bugs and add some features; ideas??? :D
