Cant run the game

When I click to play a pop up tells me i need directx 8.1 so i install from the gp4 start screen, pop up tells me its installed successfully yet when i click play the pop up comes back and tells me i need to install directx 8.1.

running on XP, using a profile tweaked as reccommend by tweakXP. Using Raedon 9200. i can't figure it out.

Don't run GP4 from their autorun program. Just create a desktop shortcut directly to gp4.exe file stored in folder where you install GP4.

thanks, tried that and comes up with could'nt find binkw32.dll and reccomends re-installing

bink32.dll is library file needed to play video.
It must be working after you installing, and restart windows.

reinstalled, restarted and same cant find. the file is in the game folder and when i opened it using GP4 i get the first screenm licensed product etc and and then and infogrames graphic, then the sysytems hangs, had to hard reset.???
