GP4 Sound Update v1.0 FINAL

Well, heres a new massive GP4 sounds pack which changes:-

- External Engine Sounds
- Launch Control Sounds
- Internal Engine Sounds
- Gear Change Sounds
- Pit Limiter Sounds
- Ambience Sounds
- Surface Sounds
- Skid Sounds

Whilst we've also added TC Sound effects and Wind Sound Effects too. Thanks to Lo2K for his brilliant sample editor, and my new partner in crime! Mark Redden (markko)

Note These come with the F1C converted engine sound effects, if you want the BMW SFX, then just download them from the link Below and insert into the game_snd.bnk file.

and remember. . . BACK UP YOUR GAME_SND.BNK AND ENGINEDATA FOLDERS!!!

links seems to be to much fragile.
BMW ones are totally not working right now.

Have you tried the mirrors?

Maybe now you can start working with MOD makers to creat proper sounds for theyr MOD's, like GT1 and ITC, etc....

Oh and for people who don't like the new wind SFX in the Sound Pack, the new website has an updated GP4 Sound Pack with it removed, If you've already downloaded it then download this file below and extract it into your GP4 directory\Samples\Enginedata\Preset1_Cockpit folder to get rid of it.

Excellent work Ian. thanks. I recognise the F1C sounds but you've kept what was good in GP4's engine sounds also. The TC sound is great, but I get it whether I have TC on or off. Sounds cool, but can it be linked to the TC itself. What event sets off the tc sound? It seems like it's related to skid sounds. Hmmm.

The only way I was able to get them in was by adding it to the lower revs (below about 12000 Revs) and I tried a new one to add it to the skidding, but this may cause problems e.g. when spinning.
