Hi, I need advice from someone who has both GP4 and F1C 99-01.

My PC specs.....

Operating System: Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition
Processor: Intel(R) Celron(R) CPU 1.80 GHz
Memory: 254 MB RAM
DirectX Version: DirectX 9.0a
Graphics Intel(R) 82845G/GL Graphics Controller (Intel(R) Extreme Graphics)

GP4 Runs like sh*t on my pc if there's any more than one car in the picture.

How similar is the F1C 99-01 graphics engine to GP4 and F1 2002? I have F1 2002 and that runs fine.

Thanks in advance.

I have almost the same Specs.
my mother board is Intel D845 GEBV2 with ( Intel Extreme graphics controller) and gp4 runs Very well , I dont have any problem in Gp4.

I am still saving money for the 3d card.
do you have Agp slot in your motherboard?

Raikkonen F1C will run fine with any amount of cars on screen, but it just wont look very nice (I also tried it with onboard gfx).

Terve Räikkönen,
you won't get what you are looking for unless you update your rig. You need an AGp mobo and a damned good graphics card. I have both games and they run well with my rig at high resolutions and all the goodies maxed. I must admit I had problems with GP4 for a while and was about to give up. I changed my mobo (damaged goods, guarantee still in force) and switched graphics card drivers. Runs like a dream now, I keep 37 fps as standard and it never goes below 34 even at the back of a full grid.

F1C fps run at 35-60 depending where you are on the track. Replays drop their fps to below 20 for half a second here and there, but the game goes well. The grid is the difficult part, there i may see 24-30 fps depending on the track.

Visually of the 2 games GP4 rocks best with my rig (see my signature for details)

I don't think the CPU is a problem. Your graphics card and missing AGP channel are.

Is there anything I can do about the missing AGP channel?
