Top Speed problem

I am playing the 2005 megapatch from GP4 ITALIA. But there is something strange. For example on the straight of magny cours the topspeed op my car and the other cars is about 240 km/h! It's like slow motion. This happens on other tracks as well. Anyone a idea?

recalibrate your steering wheel if you use one, that happened to me once on my sidewinder.

Well, I use a keyboard, so that isn't the problem i think :P

Check to make sure you're using the correct physics file. Does it do this with the default physics and settings?

Also, if you're sure you're using the correct (unedited) physics file then make sure you're not using bad magic data. There are 4 setups in the magic data. Player default dry and wet and AI dry and wet. These could be bad. Again, try default settings (circuits, physics etc) and see what happens.

Check the gearing in car setup.
