2007 Driver Teamart Completed

Hi guys and gals, if you saw this thread, you'll know I had a go at making some driver teamarts a few weeks ago (and in the past I did one or two).

I said i'd do a set once the drivers had a photoshoot with their helmets, and so I have done them over the past few days.

I've made alpha layers for each driver to get rid of the grey background, but I've also included a set with a completely clear alpha layer, in case you don't like my painting skills and the alphas look a bit crap, so you can have them with their original grey background from the photoshoot.

They do look a bit low res, but I had to shrink the pics quite a bit to get their face and helmet into a 256 x 256 pixel area.

Hope you like them, don't be too harsh, I'm a n00b at this kind of thing. I can't model or paint cars, so i hope you like my tiny contribution, until a better set is released from a professional

Many thanks. I prefer just basic pictures for team art. No bright colours or flags or anything.

same here.

we could have better and higher resolution faces, but then you can't fit their helmet into the shot too, and i like the teamarts with their helmets, so it's a compromise.

i downloaded your set from GP4italia last week Grole, but the images were too big to fit in the 256x256 area, unless you have now made them smaller?

Ok. I play in high resolution 1280*1024 and those pictures just fit beautiful for that. Thanks for telling me this, couse I didn't know. I will resize them for lower resolutions and upload both files.

Thanks I run at 1600x1200, but when I tried to load the large teamart the game crashed

You must use GPIBrowser to install it. Everything works fine for me. I just tried to play in 800*600 res, and it works just fine too, but I'll upload resized images too, and I hope that that will fix your problem. But I don't think that the game crash because of that. Hi-res pictures looks much better, and they should work for any resolution in game.

I did use GPI Browser. Have you tried opening teameditor with the high-res teamart in? The driver images will be all fuzzy.

load the teamarts in photoshop, change image size to 256*256 and save it... then load into game with gpibrowser and done! it works for me... :p
