I am exploring the limits of GP4 builder's possibilities. I built a 19 km circuit, with 3924 sectors. It cannot go beyond 4000 sectors. I added a lot of heavy objects to see if it still worked and it does. The lap time is 4mn 25, very long. The circuit is very winding but with very wide turns. Thank you to F1 virtual for the building at the pit entrance.

Camera positions seem good (but sometimes far away because of the longer of the track) Thank you to Turbo Lover for learning me.

Hello,

I build a track but I realize that there are no mechanics (marshalls ?) in the pits. The tyres are changed by invisibled men :( How can I solve the problem please ? Do I have to modify the dat file ? Thank you.

Since you built a track might be either one of the solutions.

Could try the easier f1gstate procedure first.

I checked as Lo2k advised and everything is fine regarding the track. So the problem persists but too bad it is not important. I have seen other circuits made by other builders whose pitcrews are also invisible. It is perhaps the vagaries of GP4 Builder. I have done this many times before, and replacing the .col file usually works.
Try to find a file from another track in which the mechanic and pitcrew are not invisible and use it.

Object GarageFloor should be "TRACK_GarageFloor". Then it will be and in.col a file. (File/Convert gp4../Create.col file).

Necessarily "TRACK_ ***". The name*** can be any.

Now there's another problem with the pitlane : the cars hit walls. So I took my first version of my track with the first version of the pitlane. Now, I'm almost sure that the problem is because the track is too long. I stop now but it was a very interesting experience. If you want, you can download the track but you'll notice that the numbers of laps is limited. Some objects in the pits are by f1Virtual who gave me the permission one day.

The pitcrew appears in some mods. I don't understand why but I think GP4Addicted and rracunis are both right.
