Tom2681's Track Editing Work-Thread (Now working on: Dijon)

Welcome to this thread dedicated to track-editing.

During the coming months I will use this thread to post info and pics about my WIP tracks.

Here's a video preview of my Dijon 79 track:

(Please don't complain about the scenery (or the lack of it). The important thing is that all physical elements (including the cc-line) work perfectly).
The rest will be a piece of cake.

I have a DVD of Emerson Fittipaldi, and in the start of this race I don't know if it was 72 or 74, but the fact is that they change the position three times before turn 1.

It was a really long straight and the cars hadn't those super acceleration.

Yep. The Dijon-Prenois main straight was (and still is) longer than the Barcelona main straight.

That's a shame. How about modifying existing tracks to 1991 spec?

wow tom, that is really good, the cc-line must be very good as the cars as very quick

Vid looks very good, the cars dont seem to have to many problems getting round, hows the overtaking, last I heared that was the only major unexplained thing with track editing.

It works fine. Cars overtake each other pretty much everywhere except on tight corners.
