New Magny Cours(2005) version 2.5 Released !!!

here is a Magny cours track with new layout and 2005 adverts this file is based on version 2.0 made by Mark "MarioB" Beijer and GPGeneration Team (released with their permission)but there was some bugs in that version so I decided to gave it to Martin "Ruboy" Schubert who fixed some important bugs and added few new fantastic Changes :
new .dat:
- new pitlane entrance
- slightly changed Z-values for pitlane exit in order to display tarmac
- all kerb feelings correct now
- adjusted JipMappings
new .col
new pitlane.bin

I also included new photorealistic sky texture to this track .

Istallation: Put the .dat into the 'circuits' folder and magnycours2001.wad to GP4 main folder .

bugs : The pit entrance is much smoother now but avoid keeping to much to the right because somehow you will hit the wall. Is was not that easy to change it but if you don't go into the pits to agressively you will have no problems

again, the track seems 'over-reflective'.
is there any fix?

it seems if realistic skies are included the track becomes over-reflective.

hmmm I have never had that problem whit any track ,do you use dynamic environment mapping? Anyway the problem is somewhere in your graphics settings.I will ask help from Willb

@SchueyFan: Do you have 'over-reflective' problem with my Melbourne06 track?

You'll have to turn off Self illumination (I think, haven't looked in a loooooong time) for each class of object oer scene. I believe it was a common problem with Ricardo's tracks at one time

indeed it's ,they did well but let's not forget the one of the big names of track editing Mr. Mark Beijer who worked hard on this track and of course you did some nice things too Martin

are you using dynamic environment mapping ? try without it . Anyway I will try to fix this bug
