I like the one with more light. You could make both available for release so people can pick the one they like most.

Both screenshots are using the same LCD pictures, on the second one it's simply that the wheel gets more sun from the game, so the LCD segments are more visible. (first screenshot it's raining, second screenshot lots of sunlight)

That's where you realise the game is old and it's just a texture: everything brightens when you have more lighting on it, it's the contrary in real life: LCD and LEDs become unreadable.

BTW, it is possible to 'tag' objects in the game so there are not sensible to the game lighting ?
