Fw28 wip

Well, it's been under development for a very long time (since melbourne!!), but it's nearly ready, we are happy to present the Williams Fw28. Shaped and mapped by me, and painted by mini maestro, it has 3592 polys at the moment which means its accurate although if you don't have a fast system then you will have huge performance problems with this car,initweb's version should be a better choice for less than uber pc's. Anyway, here is a preview pic:




As the picture says it's still WIP, but there is only a few more things to tweak. I just want to take this oppertunity to say thanks to the following people:

That's where I come in.

Stan forgot to mention it, I made some new tyre textures not just for this car, but have been making them a while. They're based on Caelen's and six degrees old textures as a reference point(s) (didnt use them at all, just for comparison) and they've come out really well so far.

Just I have Stan on MSN and gave him the beta version and he put it in with the Williams for now.

Havent done anything really since my Brabham textures for the 91 mod so I started doing these quite a while ago (around the same time Stan started doing the Williams).

yes, in the top picture, i think its the 3d treads, 2d rims advanced by vervius with kirks tex's
