Disable steering wheel

Hi there. I've been running some tests with ripping corpse's mods here and just found out that they use an internal steering wheel, so when i put my own, always appears the default one under mine. Is there a way to disable the original steering wheel? I don't want him to appear at all, so that i can use a cockpit file for the steering wheels and a hands file for showing the hands in different colors for each team. Can someone help me?

Hi Saiborgas,

there is a way: go to cars.wad cars\cockpit and replace the cockpit_wheel.gp4 with a empty cockpit_wheel.gp4 with one object: x=0 y=0 z=0. Or use mine cockpit_wheel file.

Hi Landex that worked a treat, many thanks for your help, that was pretty much appreciated. By The way in another related problem, how can i change the position of the LCD fonts, as they are now blocked by the steering wheel? I know this has something to do with the english.pos file, but don't know how to change it. Another thing is that the new steering wheels are visable in all views, besides the cockpit, the T Cam, track view etc, can i disable this too so the new steering wheel is only visible in the cockpit view?
I've been trying the steering wheels on your excelent interlagos'80 track, but noticed that the CC cars are much faster than mine, how can i level this a bit?
