teameditor problem

teameditor works fine before i start gp4. When i start gp4 and then go out of the game and start teameditor this happens

the 3d screen dissapears :S
So i need to restart my pc if i want to use teameditor again

Erm, don't use it while GP4 is open perhaps?

Yep, you can't use TeamEditor while GP4 is running because GP4 is hooking some files needed for TeamEditor.

Probably means there's something wrong with the cars.wad but I'm not sure what...

I SHUT DOWN GP4 before starting TEAMEDITOR again.

i have reinstalled gp4 many times but still the same problem

As I see you run team editor with unzipping it. At first unzip it into a folder and from there start it!

What gfx do you have?

a geforce4 ti 4200. Teameditor worked 2 weeks a go fine i didn't had this problem.

Updated drivers in those two weeks or not?

Then the only thing it can be is GP4 but since you've reinstalled it countless times how could it be?

i don't know, mwa i will leave it like this. I can live with it :P

I suppose if you use CSM that could be a cause but I wouldn't put anything on it

you could find the usual regedit tips for TeamEditor here if you havn't did it yet.
But if TeamEditor starts with no screens, it's most certainly due to a graphical card related thing...so far any nvidia driver up to 81.85 worked for me and I was having a GF4200 too some time ago without any trouble.
Didn't you rename your cars.wad by any whance?

I would not use the newest nvidia drivers for a GeForce4 Ti 4200 -
i have a GeForce4 Ti 4200 too and have the best performance
with the 43.45

i have deleted that file in regedit many times but doens't help. I don't use the 81.85 i use a older driver. And i haven't renamed the cars.wad. But the strange thing is it works fine before i play gp4. After i played gp4 then it doesn't work
