what do I do wrong?

Hi, sometimes, while track editing, I have this report.....

Now I even have it while loading some tracks.... (even GP4 default tracks)

you have an ATI card, right?

that's a know bug, you should try different drivers, but i don't know which ones

well.. I tried it again with the new catalyst driver.... and I got still the same prob

My graphic card : ATI RADEON 9250 128mb

Now I see this prob has already been dicussed

I'll try the newest catalyst than... 5.9, and if it doesnt work, I'll try the 5.6 version

Maybe that one will help? :-p

i also have a 9250, but i installed the newest drivers a few days ago and started having this bug, so, as i wanted to keep 3DEditor working i went back to the old ones that came with the card (catalyst 4.9)

well.... now maybe 1 little question.... I'm making my track, the begin and end are fitting quiete good to each other

than I did the kerbs, also ok

and afterwards, I tried making the pitlane...... but there something must go wrong.... all the flags are placed good, but in GP4, it still crashes

has anyone an idea how it comes? thanks!

well....

tbh, I see that there is even no catalyst installed...

you have the utily with which you can uninstall your catalyst driver.
I did that, started again, and it worked *-)

here you can download that uninstall utily (just click in the left box : windows XP, RADEON, and there previous drivers and software.....

But the strange thing is: I installed firstly the 5.9 version. Than everything worked exept 3Deditor.
Afterwards I uninstalled Catalyst, and I wanted to check if it worked well than, and it just did it

and if it may not work, just try the 5.6 version, someone in another thread said it worked well

also the same way to find it as above

You solved it then? There is one or two people I know who are trying to make tracks who keep getting application errors when clicking on drive, even though all flags are placed properly etc
