New CamEditor 5.9 and GP4Patcher 5.9

Here is the new ones, bringing long awaited (for some people, wasn't it Viper ? ) cockpit steering wheel and dashboards positions editing.
It also enhances cockpit preview and allows use of textures from the CamTextures folder.
It also fixes mirrored carshapes (mostly seen with non-F1 shapes) and some debuging info forgotten in 5.6v.

As usual, a small preview:

And i also updated GP4Patcher to support new position datas for Viper

why doesn't cameditor 5.9 work on my pc! my gp4 version is encrypted 9.6. when i run the program it gives the "Exception EAccessViolation dans le module CAMEDITOR 5.9.EXE dans 0000488C. Violation d'accés a l'adresse 0040488C dans le module "CAMEDITOR 5.9.EXE". Lecture de l'adresse 409ffff8." error message (and it's interestingly in french). I also tried to extract the program into the gp4 folder but it didn't solve anything!

thats why u need the decrypted exe


yeah, its in french coz lo2k is french and he likes to use things in his language

i am confused now! which is encrypted, which is decrypted! what my gp4 becomes after i install the no cd patch? is it decrypted, or encrypted?

encrypted is how it was on the cd

decrypted is after we get a grubby poors on it

Using a nocd exe don't mean it is decrypted, as using GPxpatch (that work with encrypted version too) so you have to check file size of your exe.

If it is 6 275 072 bytes long, then, you have the GP4 +patch nocd decrypt exe (the good one), else you have to download the good exe

my gp4.exe is 6275072 bytes long, so it's the good one. but why doesn't it work?
i also downloaded the livery editor 1.1 but it didn't work too.
i am sure my gp4.exe is decrypted and i don't know how but cam editor 3.7 works fine.

Can you try cameditor, renamming your current GP4.exe in GP42.exe and copying your fresh GP4.exe nocd decrypt in the GP4 folder ?

no, it didn't help. it is strange that except camed 5.x and livery editor 1.1, all the editors of yours which i donloaded runs without error. i am using windows 98 SE, athlon xp 2000+, gf4mx 440, 512 MB DDR RAM. please help!

Did you try 3D Editor ?
What editor's of mine did you test succesfully ?

Yes, it's the same error that appears on my system (Win98, too).

And 3D Editor works fine and great!!!

So what is the difference between 3D Editor and CamEditor at this line?

cameditor versions 3.x, i never tried 4.x and 5.6 and 5.9 gave an error message (camed 3.x still runs), wadupdater runs fine, team editor runs fine. i downloaded 3D editor but not tried yet. can it make changes that camed can do?

No, 3D Editor can't do what CamEditor does but it does all that CamEditor can't do :p
That means: changing texture assigned for each car part, adding new textures, editing carshape (a bit as Paul Hoad's Car Editor did with GP3 carshapes) for examples

but i need camed then to adjust cam positions but especially the steering wheel, arms and helmet positioning.
