copy the 2005 one :p
or
read the post Zaz made a few days ago
or
create globalvars.ini in Settings, with [Vars] at the top and other stuff underneath.
so:

[Vars]
cartexres=Lo

[cartexres]
AllowChange=1
Name=Car Texture Resolution
VarCount=3
Var1=Hi
Varname1=High
Var2=Std
Varname2=Standard
Var3=Lo
Varname3=Low

note the [cartexres] is the name of the var (variable) and underneath is listed its properties.
AllowChange
1=shows up in configure menu, 0=it doesnt
Name=name seen in configure (varname if none specified - ie cartexres)
VarCount=how many options
VarX=what it is
VarnameX=the name shown

so for that option you see in the configure menu "Car Texture Resolution" with choices "High" "Standard" "Low"
and in an ini somewhere csm looks for cartexres, hi, std, lo

so in your cars\config.ini you might have:
Dir1=Ferrari\%cartexres%

so when you select High, csm will put in your cars.wad all files from Cars\Ferrari\Hi

thats a very simple sum up, but go read Zaz's post about it a few days ago - he seems to know what he's talking about :p

last option: wait for the next update as theres many changes, and most of Zaz's new eatures will be implemented :)
