Problem with GP4ITALIA 2004 Mod

At the starting grid, my engine don't turn on.....



As you can see, 0 RPM !!!!

check for "car power team dependant" option in the main csm window, it needs to be checked. beside this i have no idea.

I had the same problem : my engine didn't turn on. More : I had two white cars, for the revcounter only the needle, and many other things. I preferred to delete my patch and wait for (maybe) a new version.

Press the Scroll Lock key to disable speed limiter!

Finally - somebody has explained in plain ENGLISH what my problem was as well - this wasn't documented in the readme, so explains why I was having problems.

I have a tricky question for you

How do you put the Renault shape made by nemo, and the MDBSnake texture that goes with it, in the 2004 mod ?

I am getting the good shape but no texture (white cars).

I did renamed the texture properly, in fact if I use that shape with the original texture made by Enzojz, I have the same problem....

Can you help me out ?

Well, that's not tricky at all Just delete ALL the files EXCEPT the cp_benetton.tex file. The put the .gp4 and the .tex files (not the generic ones, put them into the Shared folder) into the dir. Now create a copy of the texes with the hi_ prefix. Just do the same for the NT version. If you're not in a hurry, the Nemo shape will be included in the fix 1.1 that we'll release in a couple of days, with both Tobacco (EnzoJZ) and NT textures (Eighth based on EnzoJZ)
This is all documented in the readme, btw...

that's what i did, that's why I don't understand....

the 2 whit cars are normal becouse:
2001 season: 22 cars
2004 season: 20 cars
so 2 cars are still empty and those are white. thats the reason I think.

as soon as i change gear the speed limit comes on again

Disable the pit speed limiter from the Joystick. Have a look at the readme to see how to configure the link to gp4tweaker and then edit the joystick button assignments

@ the ones with displaying problems
Try editing your f1graphics like this:

- f1graphics.cfg controls all settings (1)
- Increase car texture quality (1)
- Full 32bit textures ( 0)
- Rotate wheels via textures v2 (1)
- TV style overlays on track cameras. ( 0)
- enable visor ( 0)
