Euro Truck Simulator 2 I assume. Sounds dull but is rather good.
That McLaren posted by vesuvius :-o Is that GP4 or something else?
Has anyone come across 3D files for LMP1 cars? I have been looking to see if there are any kicking around the net (like the Forza car rips)

That McLaren is GP4, it´s originally made by Ivo Franic and Ralph Hummerich, but converted, shape updated and textures redone by Hega :)

Why is it not possible to get out of the car after the race in GP4? Sometimes GP4 really sucks. :((N)
Because the fricking game is 14 years old! What do you expect?

My Grand Prix 4 Files

F1 2016: A young simulator in search of details and even small niche shots, you may like or may not elicit any emotion.

GP4: I never thought it was so ahead of its time in which the graphics and 3D models already use a very interesting technique.
I used GP3 and modified in every parameter, but I did not think that the next version would give a value so beautiful and realistic.

rFactor: I think it's an old simulator but still like for its flexibility in many parameters and choices in the creation of new cars or of the past.
The graphics and the shadow and reflection effects are good but also the sound of the engines has much to say.

Maybe I can not see my driver out of the car after a victory, but all in all it is a detail that I can do without.

F1 2016 is not all about pretty "niche" shots. Strip back the next gen graphics, modern features such as multiplayer, online leader boards, customisable helmets, safety car, VSC, tyre strategies, the ability to communicate with voice to your engineer, etc. and you still have a wonderful sim.

The handling of the car is so well done. No one is saying it's a full simulation but it balances the whole deal VERY well, the AI is by far one of the best to race with, the new simulation damage model is fantastic, the way the car reacts to the different parts of the circuit/run off areas/grass/gravel is again fantastic, wet weather is one of the most improved things this year, it's as hard as it should be and the way the track changes from wet to dry and in between is a masterpiece, you can feel the changes through the car and it's always changing from corner to corner which needs to be experienced to be believed and the sounds are all but perfect. In my opinion, it's finest feature cannot even be seen or captured in a "niche" shot, it is the immersion into the world of F1. The way the game puts you in a driver's shoes is brilliant and I don't think any other racing sim has ever done it this well, from practice programs (tyres tests, long runs, qualifying simulations), detailed customisable race strategies to R&D for new parts.

I know to many of the GP4 cult, no other game will ever be as amazing as GP4 and it was way ahead of it's time but it is stale now compared to modern games. It lacks basic features which may or may not be important to some and the modding reached its glass ceiling a long time ago. That's not to say it's crap, at all, but it is a game that is 14 years old - That's all there is to it.

At the end of the day, everyone has a choice and what is right for them is right for them. Simple.
