Lol!

I'd suspect it's what NS said, unless the track wad is linked to the dat file, then you do have problems! You could always pretend it's season 3004?! ;)

Yep, i suspect your s1ct07.dat is not the monaco track layout (you can check opening it in 3DEditor).
Be sure to copy the s1ct07.dat file coming with the track you downloaded over existing one to fix this.

@ Khalid, i suspect the 'warm-up lap' is the 'outlap' in qualifying.

The blue color of the sky is due to Rayleigh scattering. As light moves through the atmosphere, most of the longer wavelengths pass straight through. Little of the red, orange and yellow light is affected by the air.

However, much of the shorter wavelength light is absorbed by the gas molecules. The absorbed blue light is then radiated in different directions. It gets scattered all around the sky. Whichever direction you look, some of this scattered blue light reaches you. Since you see the blue light from everywhere overhead, the sky looks blue.

hey St. Hubbins, you know about Rayleigh Scattering??

I did my dissertation on Raman Spectroscopy, and about the Rayleigh, Stokes and anti-Stokes scattering of red laser light on ink samples.

to get a degree with Honours, you have to do a dissertation in your final year at uni. i completed mine in March '04, after working on it since september '03, and reading up on it since about june '03.

now i've finished uni, i wanted to do an MSc, but thats cancelled.

it was about the different methods of differentiating between inks of the same colour, finding out which method(s) of 3 that i carried out offered the greatest discrimination.

Interesting dissertation topic! I hope it wasn't as boring as mine... graphics API's, comparing DirectX to OpenGL. :( The dissertation on my course wasn't actually the main part though. Only one module out of 10 for the whole year. My main part was designing and creating a prototype game. :)
