Race Coverage Update

The race will be posted on Sunday as I'm not able to do it until then. I'm out with work colleagues tomorrow night then off to Lincoln vs Tranmere on Saturday. Thanks for your patience.

Toyota

Not the greatest of qualifying session's from Mark but what a lap by Jenson! Fingers crossed the boys can get it done and seal the WCC crown. We look really strong here so we have high hopes.

Is that the end of his championship hopes?

Off goes Fisichella

He drops down to 21st

But Button stays ahead

A look at the top 8

Did he have an off?

He has now!!

That's the end of his race

Webber looks to pass Montoya

And does

Hamilton defends from Fisichella

Now the Italian gets past

A look at the standings

Off goes Trulli

He's hit the wall

A miserable day for Renault

Webber has done the same

Hes out

And does

Sato spins off

2006 Japanese Grand Prix Result

Drivers Championship

Constructors Championship

Honda
I am very speechless right now. Favourite GP and favourite track turned into a wish come true.
Bad luck for Sutil though. He's not the only one who's been cursed by Turn 1.
well, that was the worst start to a Grand Prix that I have ever seen in the whole of my life since Belgium 1998. Behind BMW and losing a title that should have been ours if Fernando wasn't the biggest bottle since the post-Schumacher Ferrari. Fml

BMW Sauber

Sensational race, that was a strong race from us! 3rd and 4th was the best result we had today and we're very happy. Ralf with a great comeback comes 3rd with another podium and Nick with another 4th place. Well deserved drive from our boys! Ralf is now 2nd in the Drivers and we're looking to focus on a last race.

Super Aguri

Another point to our team and it is a great day overall which we're happy again. Karthikeyan takes 1 point to get in the Top 10 and basically we're somehow better today. For Speed it's 12th place from him and with the result we did a strong race particularly.
Toro Rosso
Super Impressed. The best race we have. Coulthard up in second!!! Doornbos in 7th was good too!

Williams
Giancarlo was highly impressive until he spun off :( He would`ve been in the top 5 for certain. Good thing Da Matta took his spot. I think Da Matta has improved since he`s realised what he`s capable of! Very Impressed with him :)
Next Season
I have a small anouncement. I`m wanting to start work on next season after China. Lets get the final race (China) out of the way first. We can then pull things together and make a start. We need to add more content and tweak on things. Add more variety.

The mod file is already completed for race drivers. Still need to do some of the testers helmets. I've also ran the pre season test sessions so we are well on our way to getting the new season up and running in the new year

Great to here. Just some tweaking to do. Can I ask, how did you create the mod file? I`m also having trouble with GP4 On windows 10. I`ll try again :/

I used the empty 2009 mod as a base and went from there really. it's not a short process. I've only done what needed to be done. I think Jorge did a guide on how to get GP4 running on Windows 10.

Ah right. I`d like to have a go myself. Is it hard or easy?

I would definitely say it's not easy

2006 Brazilian Grand Prix - Free Practice

Honda
A good Friday for the team.
BMW Sauber

Seems like pretty satisfying practice for us, hopefully in quali we could be in better position. We're happy with 3rd and 6th but there's still more work to do before this season finishes.

Super Aguri

19th and 20th, we had a good practice today. Our drivers managed to post some good times throughout this FP session, now we're focusing on quali whether we'll be struggling for pace. We'll see what will happen in quali.
