@ Marko: yes, Markko...I also use your sound set, that is fine. What I was meaning is this: basically, GP4 default uses a 16600 physic file, with a Sample text configuration of 18000 rpm. When You use a new 19000 rpm physic file, result is not always fine. Sound could be not exactly as one can expect.
So, I suggest moderation in editing physic file until You get a good sound ( as that from markko, for example ), and adeguate Sample file texts configuration.
@ Marc lister: my performances are available on this site.
Finally, speaking about physic file, and performances: honestly, I'm not completely satisfied on what GP4 allows actually. Infact, when I think about a new physic file, i mean some other improvements that i cannot do whit these magic files. In magic files You find some important values that are integrating mechanical and physic features of cars and tracks. But they are always the same for all cars...as the physic file. The ideal situation should be to have separate physic-mechanical features for each team ( car), and possibly for qualify and race tracks, that, as you know ,are not the same from friday to sunday.
Actually I have to make a compromise on physic features for cars...a compromise for features on tracks... To better understand what I mean:
I could make a new physic file, with more brake power, more downforce, more rpm...but then, to obtain realistic laptime, I have to do lower a lot of parameters on magic files, making useless my work on physic file.
Sorry to bore You with my considerations, but is only for to say that " my performances are only a good compromise of a lot of parameters that cannot be set in a complete realistic way"... the max rev of cars in GP4 is an example:
You can set 19000 rpm...but then You have the fuel problem, possibly the sound problem, and the unrealistic result on some cars ( Minardi, and co ..).
