Very simple

You open the shape in Zmodeler. There you put all the textures on it (including cockpit_damage)

En export to *.3ds file.

Import that in 3dsMax and here you are.

Good luck

The texture has to be in the same map (directory) as the .3d File is.

Next to that I always make the car as one. So Select All in Zmodeler en than Unite ?? or something. Give it a new name and export it.

Just try and render.

3DMax can support both tga and bmp. You'll need to modify material editor in 3DMax if 3ds file mapping texture name incorrectly, then enable that material (press a button in the material toolbar, refer to 3DMax doc). To view scene in texturizing mode, click a small button on top-left corner on every 3DMax's viewports, select approriate view mode with texture.

In reality, doesn't matter who's right but most important is who's left.

Use BMP, the TGA has a Alpha channel and 3dsMax reacts on that. If you want to have a nice render you should not use TGA. Convert them to BMP and here you are.

Meaby I mail you a rar from me...

Sorry, wrong info. To show texture, from material editor turn-on a button with blue-white box icon. To view full texturized mesh, right-click on label at every viewport label (left, right, perspective, etc).

try to rename your gp4 objects just before exporting them in 3ds format. many names are too long for 3ds filter so being cutted. if you dont need separable objects in 3ds. merge all objects to one only.
normals are handled in different way by zmod/3ds if an object is invisible in 3ds try to flip the normals.
