Fantasy Carset WIP :-)

I'm pretty proud of my WIP fantasy carset, all cars are made by me, myself and i and the three of us are finetuning the carset at the moment. It will be available for download eventually..... but i'd very much like to show you some pix of the cars. Here's three:

WOW!!

These cars look class! I'll use the Coca-Cola - Ferrari instead of the Arrows, looks like a perfect replacement!!

When do you expect the Bacardi Jaguar to be released? Looks like the best car IMHO

Bacardi Jaguar will be probably out in a week or so.

I'll add all the presentations later in our Gallery. Cause they are all different and just as creative as the cars (i hope) I've been working on these cars for almost a year now. Maybe i'll put a beta WIP cars.wad on our site if there's a demand for the complete carset. I do race with it on my own pc, and having a jolly good time each time

I'd love a complete carset personally! I'm gonna start to try and insert all the cars into a seperate car.wad and put it in Carset Manager now. Are you intending on creating other textures like pitcrews, cockpits etc?

Nah.......not really but it sure is fun

[edit]11 cockpits for sure, but pitcrews maybe..... furthermore some addtional touching up on the paint and alpha channels on some of the cars and maybe a few shapechanges (gotta have antennas on all the cars!!!) and if it's possible gridcars would be really cool!!! so i think i'll release the final version around Xmas 2008 or so....[edit]

erm, my brain hurts.................

Did some touching up on the Jordanbased cars (black suspension, bodywork lines and antennas on the shape) they look even better now, ...well in Zmodeler they do. Tormorrow i'll try them ingame

Another great news is that Raymond Smits is going to make a classic helmet set for my carset. It'll include names like Senna, Prost, Alesi, Schumacher, Hill, Lauda, Hakkinen, Jacques Villeneuve, Piquet, Berger etc.... so expect an all-star line up for this carset!

I also asked Tigershark to do some modifications on the BAR, Williams and Minardi based cars (antennas).

Wow Matti! Thanx, you almost make me blush. But the real succes of the site is the combination of Webhost Steve, my mate Bojan and the expertise of 3d carshaper Erix. Combining forces is the key to succes in the GPx community! As i learned from my old site there is a huge demand for carpaintstuff and by specialising in that area we are aiming to provide newbies the necessary basics and support and for the diehard painters a home to visit now and then to see other peoples work and to talk about that and maybe help a few newbies on the way. We also like to have fun now and then so everyone intrested in Gpx Carpainting is welcome to visit us!
