So, time to show off some of my work then!
Some of you may know that I am not actually, properly Finnish, but I do enjoy thinking I am.
That being said, my thoughts on what to do with this shape instantly turned to probably the most important singular item that got me to where I am today with gaming and racing.
This:


For people that may not guess, this is the Stadium Car from TrackMania Nations ESWC. Most importantly, it is in its Finland livery.

That was my first 'sim'/online racing vehicle, and promptly carried me to numerous wins at my high school :D

So, I decided to attempt to bring it across to the cart shape:


And of all the cars I've painted here and on RaceDepartment, none has made me happier.

(Note that it is only done in base livery terms, the sponsors and logos will be added and then sent off very soon).

TrackMania was/is an awesome game, good memories. I can't believe that the game is almost as old as GP4.

Very nice! Trackmania is probably the only game to compete with the amount of hours put into GP4, such a fun game. Great job with the livery too, its a very good representation of a fantastic livery!

I've been so engrossed in getting the base done, I just have no idea what to do now. It's all about it working with the livery and not clashing...
It's by far much harder then doing the base

It's not a case of not being able to do it, just rather making sure that the sponsors and logos are working with the livery and not against it (in design terms).

Sidepods, wings, front of the nose, cockpit area, on the sides of the stripe on the nose. That's were I'd probably put them.

So far you're describing what I've done, the nose section is a tricky one, will probably leave it rather clean as that stripe is a focal point that I'd rather not ruin.

Yeh sometimes its good to not slap a logo over the design, having very few sponsors isn't necessarily a bad thing. My car only has 3: tyres, engine and title. If design is your major focus as was with me then I'd just play around with sponsors in the emptier areas like wings and sidepods.

I've gotten the sponsors done, and in doing so I am worried that I might have squashed a few in poorly, I will give another preview soon, I am eager for some feedback.

I'll make some changes/adaptations to my livery. I noticed I forgot to put my name on the car plus the missing engine supplier lol

Right, I just can't get the wing to work for me. Will have to try again later in the season if not next maybe.
So this is the final product, now who do I send to for an official render + entry for the series?

Looks good. I noticed you never added the team's tyre supplier on the car. Anyways, send the PSDs to kedy89 for the mod, and send them to me for a render.

Maybe next update on the livery, I sort of find it weird to have Michelin on there (being French is all), likewise we have no engine supplier, as I am looking into which makes are most prevalent in the country.

But I don't think this will be the finished product by any means.
