18000 will be fine for gp4

But.. increasing rpm, the fuel consumption in each lap increases, and the fuel/lap value shows incorrectly. It would be great that some tool updates de fuel consumption in each s1ctxx.dat when you change the rpm, it would a good idea

should be very cool, at the mom, 16900 - 17000 are good RPM values to shift, 10000 to start, to shift dow,, euhm, just feel it

17000 gives more real speed but 18000 gives more real times.

i use 18800 - gp4 give 500 rpms more than set in gp4physics editor.

I ran out of fuel once after I had upped the rpm's a bit, was quite a surprise had to limp for a whole lap :P

I'm still using 16600 RPM

changing the rpm also seems to confuse the gp4 engine sounds. Is there any workaround for that ?

is there a editor to change the rpm limit? where can i get it frm is there is one?

You can change the rpm with Aubrey Windle´s Gp4 physics editor which can be download in any Gp4 site

I still using the original rpm (16600) too, because change it suppose to adjust the fuel consumption value in every track, that is a very annoying work, above all... cause in the future, when the CC line may be modified, this value must be adjust again.

yeah, i use upto 19,000 rpm, and racing at spa and canada i ran out of fuel one the penultimate lap. one way around this is to do a longer race where you have to make a pitstop, so you won't run out of fuel.

is there any editor that can change the default fuel load for a race with no stops?

The problem is with the cc cars... that sometimes run out of fuel some laps before the finish.
