Got a new computer and gp4 is playing up.

got a new machine. installed gp4 and it worked brilliantly.

turned ity on this morning and all i got was a blank screen.

re-installed twice and it works again.

dunno if its to do with windows xp?

i havent got the gp4 patch yet, may that be a factor?

my system:

2800+mhz Athlon, 128mb GeForce 4 MX/440, 512mb ddram

strange... my spec is pretty much the same... only ive a P4 2.4GHz

have windows xp pro, and havent had any trouble at all

i think you need the patch, theres a bug in the safedisk in default gp4 install. so patch and then dowload no cd version 1.02 and everthing ok.

delete the save game state and the save game state backup files in the GP4 dir, then boot the game. It will run now hopefully
