I'm sure it is, it's great one.
He sounds like a cybotic version of me from the future.

Jenson drives it like he owns it; Lewis drives it like he stole it

Really? I mean like, my name of the driver, it's great. I wish to stay on that one otherwise I could be in big trouble. Don't make sense guys.

GPGSL Team Owner Debut - Melbourne, Season 8 - present
GPGSL Test Debut - Hungary, Season 4. GPGSL Race Debut - Adelaide, Season 5.
Enough of the topics, let's go back racing!
Meanwhile at the Shadow motorhome, driver Tobi Kederer has run out of Russian Standard supplies while waiting for track action to start.

Further news have it that other teams report parts of their booze supply have gone missing.

That could explain why SCR is missing a few cartons of Singha (although I don't drink that stuff as I have my Monster Energy drinks).

Guys, be nice ;)

GPGSL Rd7 Austrian GP – Tester’s Free Practice

Hello and welcome to the A1 Ring, the venue for this weekend’s Austrian GP and the 7th round of the GPGSL. Up first is the tester’s free practice. We have a few changes made to the driver lineup for this weekend. Due to Rico Van Smirren being inactive for a long period of time, his seat has been given to Milos Ancevski and as a result, Tom Pellatt has moved into the empty testing seat. Over at Demon Racing, new recruit Daly McCLure has taken the vacant testing seat, which should now allow Daniel Thomas to focus more on his driving duties in the race seat. Lastly, due to his inactive penalties, Tommi Karjalainen has been demoted to test driver for the next two rounds, and taking his place is Aidan Keranen. Anyways, I can hear the cars getting ready in the pits, so it’s time for the session to get underway.

Weather Report

First out of the pits for the first group’s first run is the two TNR’s.

Karjalainen sets the first time of the session.

His time is bested by Mills.

It doesn’t last for long as Steer goes fastest, by .5s.

Michail isn’t able to beat Steer’s time.

As Sheppard crosses the line to set his time, we have a yellow flag out.

And here’s why it’s out. Mills has gone into the wall and lost a wheel as a result of Suspension Failure. Hopefully he’ll get a chance to have his 2nd run.

Allington comes across the line, and his time is good enough for 2nd.

*Donut King* Stoddart sets his time, and it’s good enough for 4th.

However, Hunsley manages to go quicker than him, by .002s.

Worseling takes the 3rd fastest time of the session.

Domenech in his Greidanus sets his time, and slots into 4th.

Last across the line for the first group is Ana, who can only manage 9th with his time. He’ll be slightly disappointed with how his lap turned out.

Let’s check out the current standings.

First driver out to start the second group’s first run is Scala.

He crosses the line and sets a pretty good laptime.

Shadow boss Pellatt puts in his laptime, and it’s fast enough to put him into 2nd.

Newcomer McClure crosses the line, and it’s fast enough to take 1st. He’ll be extremely happy with that. Also, the standings show that Silva has set his laptime as well.

Vilela comes across the line, and his time is good enough for 3rd. He’ll be pleased with that as it’s now a One 2-3.

De Boer sets his time, and is now the holder of the fastest laptime.

Cremasco crosses the line, and slots himself into 10th.

The final four drivers all come across the line to set their laptimes.

Domenech starts the second runs off for the first group, but is unable to improve on his previous time.

Michail improves on her previous time, but doesn’t improve her position.

An improvement for Allington sees him move up into 6th.

There is no improvement of position for Hunsley despite him having improved on his previous best.

Ana puts in a much better laptime than before, and it’s enough to improve him up into 4th.

Sheppard also improves on his previous best, and moves back up into 3rd.

Steer improves, and moves up into 2nd.

Time to check the standings again.

Scala is out first for the second group as they prepare for the final runs of the session.

Silva comes across the line, and his time is good enough to move him up into 13th. So near yet so far for the MPR tester.

Cremasco improves, but only by one position. He probably won’t be too happy with that.

Hinz is now in 5th after improving on his previous best laptime.

The last driver to improve on their previous best time is Greidanus, which sees no improvement of position for the Greidanus team boss.

With all drivers having completed both of their runs, let’s check out the final standings.

There we have it. It was a pretty good session to watch, and at the end of it we have our fastest driver. Congratulations Maikel De Boer and SCR, the winner of the tester’s free practice. Next up will be qualifying for the main drivers, and if the results of the free practice is anything to go on, it’ll be a cracker of a qualifying session when we determine who will take pole position for the race. Be sure to join us then.

Everyone in the SCR garage is pleased with De Boer's free practice win. Hopefully that is a sign of things to come for both myself and Gilson when it comes time to qualify for the race.

uh oh...
3rd place in the Testers Free Practice, get in!
Very bad free practise, I hope that the race boys do a better job.

My Grand Prix 4 Files

I'm a total dick. How many people can say that?
5th and 8th for the HDR boys. It's not bad but I figure I can sense a hint of disappointment nonetheless. But after this long pause, it's hard to get back into the rhythm, so the next session should be better again! ;-)

As for the image, I'm not sure who has that GPGSL logo on their local drive. Mal? Ruben?
