Different Gp4 experience at different fps

Actually most of you will understand what i mean .
when i started playing gp4 , i used to get 18 fps soon i started getting 24 fps but now with my New graphic card i get 34 fps .

Although higher fps means good performance , but doesn't the game feel slow in higher fps ?, in other words the sensation of speed isn't there .
i played EA's NFS underground , at 160 MPH the game fealt really fast and blurry but in gp4 even more than 160 MPH doesn't give the sensation of going fast .

one general question , what is actually the FPS of a normal eye?

is there anything which can be done with Gp4 to Make it feel like a JET :)

The normal is 25 fps, I recommend you to use it
More or less fps will make the game less realistic
That happen with gp3 and gp4

yes but i tried dropping from 30fps to 25 even 27 and it seems so stuttery and is hard to get used to, to me the game seems faster when in the t-cam view, where i race from and you can notice fps increase/decrease more, plus im not sure if it is good to race form 25fps beacuse the tv looks so smooth, although that has got some weird integration thing...

There is a tool which can gives this speed sensation. This tool modify the FOV angle of camera projection. I forgot the name of this tool; maybe GP4 Master, GP4 Editor, or GP4 Tweaker. :)

In reality, doesn't matter who's right but most important is who's left.

You need to match you PO to your framerate.
Mines currently at 38 frames at 1600x1200 high detail bar mirrors with all the car and track updates and 3d rims.
I get at the back of the grid at all tracks between 100 and 120 PO.
When the rave gets going it drops to 70 and 90 PO. This is incredibly fast and smooth for me and looks frickin amazing

25 isn't the eye. That's a tv, and even then frames are layered, so it looks a fair bit smoother. NFSU looks fast cos of all the crazily close buidings, other cars etc. I think if you speed past a stationary car in NFSU at 160m and 2cm away, it'll look a lot faster than a pit building zooming by at 160mph but 60m away :)

I tend to feel slightly detached from gp4 at higher fps, dunno why.

what about motogp2 , if you play at suzuka track than it feels much faster . Probably different games.

i usually have 18 and its fine. better than high fps and hi po.
but have tried at 50 and its different anyway.
seems a bit 'sped up' - like going double speed.

Try playing with your cockpit view distances as well.
