@Ricardo:

Will you put more mirrors to the other track files also?

I can download a1ring from your site because its now hosted on another mirror.

But the other tracks (melbourne) are still hosted on multiplayer.it.

It wouldnt be a problem for me if multiplayer.it support another language than italian. But they dont.

And gpgames.de download database is sometimes not available because their are to much users downloading ;)

Also @Ricardo:

:) The track (as always) are fabulous. :)

However, the tarmac aprons are still treated in the physics as gravel traps :( (eg on exit of corner1 and last corner) which is not quite so good...

Is there a way of fixing this so they are tarmac, and so that the computer uses them as such ???

Thanks for the time. ;-)

To CAtmageddon:

Think its not possible to do that at the moment.

To change cc-line (the line ai cars driving...) we need a better track editor than paul hoads te beta). Its not a grafical thing (like ricardo does) - its a physical part and that can be changed with a better te.

I dont know if the trackeditor beta from paul can manage this.

I downloaded 1 of Kimi's Qualify laps(TCAM>>2nd to shuey) at A1ring....**** ..should have seen how wide he took turn 1!!!!

It would be cool if we (*s* more like u), could incorporate those physical parts into the game.

Once again GREAT work Ricardo.

Thanks again Ricardo! Fantastic work - true dedication. You must have worked round the clock to get these updates out to us so quickly after the race week-end.

Supposedly Larry O'Meara has made these changes to canada:

"Correction makes the kerb on the exit of turn 7 behave like a kerb instead of grass, and makes the green tarmac strip after the last turn behave like tarmac instead of kerb." (from the readme)

His track is very good, as it made these changes work, i was wondering how he did it and if it could be done to A1-ring also :)

So it can be done, just a question of how... Thanks for the response.

Well not exist one complete trackeditor for GP4 as exist for GP3.
Isn't possible to make gravel (or run-off area) behave like tarmac.
Larry O'Meara does verge far from the track behave like kerbs but not run-off area behave like tarmac.
Please mail me if I am wrong about it.
Sorry if I disappoint somebody but exist great limitations to edit tracks for GP4.
