those with the white glowing problem, do you have advanced carshader enabled in your graphics config, if not the enable it and all will be fixed. This is not a bug with 3d rims but a gp4 quirk.

But with advanced carshader enabled You will get less fps...less performances with PC...isn't it?
Well..honestly, I think that these last updates ( "heavy" textures, "heavy" carshapes....new requests for graphic cards by these rims..etc ) are fitting properly only for people with a powerful PC.
How many people have more than 1,5 Gz on their Pcs?

just tried them out and they look bloody marvelous, i especially like what you did to those tyre walls. Did notice a bug in my the dry tread that i never noticed before. there's a line along the end of the tread which appears to be moving toward you ,due to the way gp4 revolves the tread backwards.

heres a fixed version. wont need if you use any other dry texture, only for version with 3d rim. cant belive i never noticed before, sticks out like dogs nuts.

So many advice....because I have only made one lod , so that my cost too much PO and I think Ghostrider will solve that problem.

I don't think there is too much effects to tweak the f1graphics.cfg
I both tested on my Durn 650 + TNT2 and Athlon 2G + GeForce Ti4200,and I think only 32bit mode and 16bit can tell me what's the difference.

I think the color set of your ferrari rims is not perfect...chose another color like williams' or mclaren's

@buzz hornet:
yes they do.

@others
I also had the white stuff, it dissapeared when i put it onto highest texture quality...

However, i had to get rid because it sent my PO through the roof :( :(
I wish i could upgrade to get these on...
(1.4, geforce2, 512mbram etc.)

Thanks Catmageddon

I have installed them, and yes they look fantastic.
I am some what more fortunate, had no effect on my PO as I have new spec PC.

Cheers

First thing, Hi
Second thing, Very Very nice wheels, look really realistic, BUT for one thing on my setup............
I know its a GP4 problem that it rotates the treads backwards, but on mine it rotates so slowly that its to hard to drive, the tyre walls are moving at the right speed but the treads are moving slowly backwards at about 2mph what ever speed you are doing.
Is it just me with this problem or anyone else got it?

Shame really, apart for that i would use them...

Hope someone can help me out with this :(
Cheers
