Pitbox textures patcher??

Can someone smart like Madman, Jon or Lo2K make us an pitbox texture patcher? I'd very like a utility in which you only have to load 1 of the 4 pitboxtexture once for each team and the util will put it in all the right places in de circuit wads. This is necessary as each texture assignment is different per circuit i understand.

Analvabeed on the Dutch forum figured them all out.

As the numbers are known it would not be a real big problem to make a patcher....but then again i am a carpainter and got no grasp of coding whatso ever. Maybe someone smart can shine his light on this?

I think Lo2k will find something interesting for pitbox textures since he working in track editing.

In reality, doesn't matter who's right but most important is who's left.

Pitstands will be a little more difficult though. Asked Jon a long time ago on his Carsetcreator website to make something for it.
I hope I didn't make any mistakes lol.

Well, I already discussed this with Ricardo Lampert because he is the first concerned and he asked me about it first

The matter is that pitbox texture haven't the same name (and number) for each track, making Wadupdater useless as it is (because wadupdater replace the same file name in every track wads).

Of course i could build a fixed list of pitbox textures names for every track and appart the time needed to reference all those names, i frankly don't know why i didn't do it yet.
I can just remind i thought that textures names could be change when tracks will be editing but now, i don't see any reason to oppose to a fixed list anymore.

So it might be done i think, and in fact i am working on Wadupdater 2.7 those days, i might took a look at this too .

Finished the first testing version for Max.. so if he doesn't find real bugs i'll polish it up a bit and then the people who are interested in it can download it.

We (analvabeed and me) reported some bugs to Zaz and he fixed them, so this part is almost doen but we're trying atm to include the pitstands (on the pitguardrail) in the editor also. Has anyone experience in editting them or knows how they are build up? Any help is much appreciated!

I send the testversion to Ricardo Lampert and he's enthusiastic too. It means that he won't have to do two versions of each track (2001 en 2003).
